Denver, November !7th, Sunday.
There was a lot of interest on the movie screening program organized by the Multicultural Mosaic Foundation (MMF). The movie was “BESA – The Promise”, a documentary about the Albanian Muslims’ protection of the Jews of Europe during their escape from Nazis in World War II. Local people from all faiths were invited and the attendance was very high. The master of the ceremony was Rabbi Steven Booth-Nadav. The film producer Stuart Huck was invited to the stage before the movie started. He talked
about the events that led to making of the movie and answered the audience’s questions. Next, the documentary started. While watching the presentation, many people in the audience were moved and some did cry. After the movie the MMF volunteers served treats, Noah’s pudding and tea. The attendants socialized while tasting the delicious cultural food.
